How to set Wallow live wallpaper as the lock screen background on Xiaomi phones

If you own a Xiaomi device and are not able to set the wallpaper to your lock screen, don't worry this is a common issue with a pretty simple fix.

Note that this fix also works on other non-Xiaomi devices that do not ship with Google Play services pre-installed.

Step 1

Go to the themes app and set any live wallpaper as a background for both your home screen and lock screen.

Step 2

Download Google's Wallpapers app and scroll down to the live wallpapers section.

Step 3

Choose Wallow Wallpaper from the list of live wallpapers that you have downloaded and set it as both.
